SafeWork NSW Construction Induction Card

Who is this course for?

It is a requirement that everyone working on a building site in Australia or works in some jobs that has certain levels of requirements towards safety, to hold a Construction Induction Card, now known as a 'White Card'. Successful completion of this course will allow you to work on a building sites or roads in Australia.

To participate in this course:

• You must be at least 14 years of age to commence the course
• Have a thorough understanding of both written and spoken English
• Have 100 Points of ID (see ID requirements)
• Must wear closed shoes (no thongs or sandals allowed)

Where is the course held?

The course is run over 1 day (8 hours including breaks and lunch and Assessment) at both our Bankstown and Blacktown Sites.

When are the courses held?

Course are held often and regularly. Please visit our website for available dates at both our sites.

Time to Arrive?

You must arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time for registration and ID check. All courses close for entry 30 minutes after the scheduled start time. If you are more than 30 minutes late you will not be admitted and fee apply. See terms and conditions.

What does the course cover?

• Identify OHS legislative requirements
• Identify construction hazards and control measures.
• Identify OHS communication and reporting processes.
• Identify OHS incident response procedure

How much does it cost?

Please refer to our website for current pricing. An additional $25 is payable at the completion of your course for processing of your actual white card. (This is a fee that SafeWork NSW charges and not Licences 4 Work).

When do I get my White Card?

If you have met the SafeWork NSW identification requirements and the course requirements then you will be issued with a SafeWork NSW Statement of Training at the end of the day. This numbered Certificate is your official White Card until SafeWork NSW send out your plastic wallet sized card to the address you provide. This certificate is accepted all over Australia.
